  • Blood Vine Group, Hoarder, Amorphous
    Constrict (b[2d6] damage) 16 HP 1 armor
    Close, Reach
Special Qualities: Plant, Bloodscent (sense living creatures), Focus on multiple prey at once

The wild elves tell tales of the deep jungle, where nature rules supreme and the forest itself defends itself from interlopers. They say the vines there nourish themselves with blood, leaving behind the withered husks of their victims. When adventurers hear these stories, they think of the discarded treasure and coin purses that must litter the forest floor, and they venture out looking for them. But adventurers are fools, and every wild elf knows that. When the vines are sated on fools' blood, only then can you cautiously sneak by.

When you are Grabbed By the Blood Vines, roll +DEX. On a 10+, both. On a 7-9, choose one.

*Your gear is unharmed. *You are unharmed

    • Take hold without warning
    • Pull something up, away, or inside

  • Siege Troll Solitary, Huge
Big meaty fists (d10+5 damage 2 piercing) 24 HP 0 armor
    Reach, Forceful
Special Qualities: Regeneration, In-bred, Weakness to Fire and Acid

This troll species was bred a long time ago by a wizard who was as mad as he was ambitious. Bred for size, strength and resilience, but certainly not intelligence and beauty, the Siege Troll was given it’s name due to a peculiar tactic in siege warfare, where they were flung inside the walls by catapult so that they may break down the gates of a fortress from the inside. When their creator died, they were taken in by the various orc warchiefs, who were able to hold them in line. Now they cause wanton destruction wherever they are let loose. Where defeating a troll is an admirable feat, killing a Siege Troll is the stuff of legends. Instinct: To destroy

    • Unleash chaos and destruction
    • Throw something or someone
    • Fly into a frenzy
    • Eat townsfolk alive

    Close

There are nice, polite women, refined women of society who know the appropriate time to laugh and smile and just the right beat in a conversation to interject without interrupting. The kind of woman who will leave your head spinning with conversation on topics you didn't even know you find interesting, who will hold your hand all the way home and laugh at your self-deprecating jokes because she knows you don't want her to think you're trying too hard. Marry that girl, my boy. Marry her as soon as you see it in her eye that she loves you. Because if you don't, you might end up with a whore like this one instead. Instinct: To lose herself in hedonism

  • The Lonely Colossus Solitary, Huge, Magical, Divine, Construct, Amorphous
    Earth-shaking strikes (d12+9 damage) 33 HP 5 armor
    Reach, Forceful, Ignores Armor, Near
Special Qualities: Made of stone, Inhuman

The Lonely Colossus is a creature of vast size, carved from the stone of mountains that stand far beyond the realms of man, dwarf or elf. Terraced as if it were a walking fortress, this creature of stone and magic lumbers like a slow hurricane through the countryside, apathetic to the efforts of mortals to stop or divert it's path. Nothing phases it, and nothing stops its slow and uncompromising journey. What is it looking for? None know. Where has it come from? None dare ask. Why does it never stop? Some say that, at its making, the gods granted it a single boon; It would inherit a concept to represent for all eternity. The Colossus chose "inevitability." Instinct: To ignore

    • Pay no heed to mortals, their homes or animals
    • Crush obstacles underfoot
    • Swat nuisances like flies
    • Flare the magical rune weak spot

    Claws (d8 damage 1 piercing) 12 HP 0 armor
    Close
Special Qualities: Disgustingly long-legged, Wretched mockery of a cat

The goblin house cat is a far cry from the cuddly things we have above ground. With great, spidery legs, and bloated, pale eyes, they are barely recognizable as the pets we keep in our world above. They do, however, share our cats' capacity for cruelty, and goblins do nothing but encourage it . . . Instinct: Cause mischief

    • Frighten the innocent
    • Sneak through tunnels
    • Alert its goblin masters

  • Cannibal Plague Victim Horde, Hungry, Terrifying
    Teeth & Nails (d8 damage) 7 HP 0 armor
    Close
Special Qualities: Caked with blood and gore

A deadly disease spawned by an ancient demon or elder god of hunger, it infects the body and spirit of its victims, turning them into near mindless, savage, and flesh eating hordes. Those who survive an attack are at risk of infection with the disease itself, which will transform the victim into a savage cannibal within days if not treated. Few sages and healers know the cure for this plague, as it requires a mixture of medicine and mysticism. Instinct: to Consume

    • Swarm and overwhelm
