Monsters by Winston "Fink" Atkinson

  • Brass Beast Solitary, Large
Metal fists and muscles of steam (d10 damage) 24 HP 3 armor
    Reach

The Brass Beasts of Pricilla are gargoyles cut and shaped in metal, and animated with a clockwork heart. They are mindless and dull, attaching themselves entirely to those that awaken them. Without a master to serve, these creatures turn idle and dormant until their inner clock finally ceases. The form and shape of these creatures are hardly standardized across the snowy plains, but they all share the tick-tocking of a tireless companion. Instinct: to follow protocol

    • When you turn on the brass beast, it will follow your orders to the letter, even if it means destroying themselves.
    • When you remove the beast's clockwork heart, the creature will still.

"We saw it's shadows before we saw it. The size of the Imperial ships covered the entire village in shadow, and it's massive cannons alone were visible from the ground. They moved like foreboding clouds of doom. As they rolled past, we saw the massive metal-works shift and transform, propelling the airships through the skies, leaving a trail of neon green in the skies. We knew not the location of the Empire's ire, but woe be to those that dare stand to these beasts of war." - White Orchid village elder. Instinct: to lay seige from the skies.
