Jan's Up-voted Monsters

  • Crawler, the demon centipede Solitary, Huge, Intelligent, Planar, Terrifying
    Mandibles (d10+7 damage 1 piercing) 20 HP 3 armor
    Reach, Forceful
Special Qualities: Blind, Tremorsense, Scent, Demonic Resistance to Magic

Crawler is a giant centipede from a demonic plane. It is as high as a horses back and many times as long. Its back covered in thick bone plates, that withstand all the weapons of man. It lost its sight as part of becoming a demon and only a terrifying bloody mass is left in the sockets. With large, strange looking antennas and sensitive forelegs it can sense the presence of other beings by their vibrations in the ground. The bone plates on head and back are in a dark brown and covered in disturbing demonic symbols that tell from its transformation. The sheer pleasure to kill and scent ability make it a perfect hunter for which it is usually summoned. The weaker belly is of a milky white, but it's hard to attack directly. It only willingly exposes it when rearing up to dive down on its prey, but who wants to get right under its terrifying mandibles? Attacking the back is useless without a mean to get in the narrow slits between the bone plates. Instinct: Killing

    • Rear up and dive down on your prey
    • Open little portals to summon a bunch (2d4) of small, fyling demons, that attack its enemies
    • Burrow

  • Elven Raider Group, Stealthy, Intelligent, Hoarder
Handaxe, knife or bow (b[2d8] damage) 6 HP 1 armor
    Close, Near

The Elven raider has dark and scarred skin and typically black or almost black hair. He usually wears amor made of natural materials, mostly leather. Some wear more special amor, when they have been able rob some of their victims. They beahve a bit like magpies, as they also prefer the more shiny things. Thus they also like to wear rings, necklaces and decorated weapons or amor. Their war paint is in blood red and a silvery white. The Elven raiders belong to a tribe living in barren lands and live of plundering of pillaging their neighbors, even if they are Elves, too. They resort to any means necessary to gain their share of the wealth. The wealth of others of corse. But they also tend to spend it on carousing, they especially have a weakness for drinking. Instinct: Looting

    • Steal the scalp and all the shiny things

  • Goblin Horde, Small, Stealthy, Organized
    Shortbow (d4 damage) 3 HP 1 armor
    Close

Goblins are small, squat creatures about 3 to 4 feet tall with pointed ears and equally pointy teeth. They have jet black hair and skin that varies from hues of orange to hues of green.
