Special Qualities: Shapeshift (humanoid forms); Flight

While they may be easily as strong as their Ogre cousins, they are superior in every other way. Instinct: to deceive and devour mortals

    Bite (d8 damage) 10 HP 1 armor
    Ignores Armor
    Special Qualities: Immune to Cold

Some have theorized that the giant ice toads may be the source of winter, for it radiates from their form. Everything near the toad freezes rapidly, and this is the real source of danger when these giant ice-blue monsters are encountered, for it will freeze a victim even through the toughest of armours. Instinct: to eat

    • Radiate cold

    Ignores Armor, Near
    Special Qualities: Frost breath

The great white wolves of the north are sometime friends to Giants and hostile to the rest. Bad enough they're too-large in size, but that they breathe ice and speak the tongues of common folk and Giants is reason enough to avoid them at all costs. Instinct: To hunt

    • Breathe a blast of frost
