  • The Mute Solitary, Intelligent, Hoarder, Construct
    Battleaxe (d10+4 damage) 20 HP 2 armor
    Close, Reach, Forceful
    Special Qualities: Reassembles when destroyed

"They say it never sleeps, never speaks and never makes a sound. It exists for one thing only, and that is to serve. Made from the carefully selected parts of a hundred corpses, it is taller than a lizardman and perhaps twice as strong. Oh, you want to destroy it? Good luck with that. Others have tried before you, and they thought they succeeded. Right until the moment it stood above their bedrolls, axe raised to claim them, that is. You'll get ample proof of that once you see the trophies it has collected from its victims... Or so I'm told." Instinct: To serve impeccably

    • Appear out of the blue
    • Act with ruthless efficiency
    • Produce a useful item from its trophy rack
Created by potrace 1.10, written by Peter Selinger 2001-2011 This monster has been edited. Its probably still cool, but its stats may not line up with standard monsters.

  • Sapphire Tower Disciple Group, Magical, Intelligent
Bonded Blade (d8 damage) 6 HP 2 armor
    Close, Near

A warrior disciple of the order of the Sapphire Tower, trained by the masters there after undergoing a joining ritual with his weapon, making the two as one. As the disciples can magically call their weapons to their side, instantly and regardless of distance, a number of fighting techniques have been developed exploiting this advantage. The most popular technique is throwing their weapon against an incoming assailant, and when he descents upon them, they recall their weapon and run him through, exploiting that the foe lowers his guard in anticipation of facing an unarmed foe. Instinct: to improve his skill

    • Recall bonded blade with a thought
    • Teleport within reach of his weapon

  • Siege Troll Solitary, Huge
Big meaty fists (d10+5 damage 2 piercing) 24 HP 0 armor
    Reach, Forceful
Special Qualities: Regeneration, In-bred, Weakness to Fire and Acid

This troll species was bred a long time ago by a wizard who was as mad as he was ambitious. Bred for size, strength and resilience, but certainly not intelligence and beauty, the Siege Troll was given it’s name due to a peculiar tactic in siege warfare, where they were flung inside the walls by catapult so that they may break down the gates of a fortress from the inside. When their creator died, they were taken in by the various orc warchiefs, who were able to hold them in line. Now they cause wanton destruction wherever they are let loose. Where defeating a troll is an admirable feat, killing a Siege Troll is the stuff of legends. Instinct: To destroy

    • Unleash chaos and destruction
    • Throw something or someone
    • Fly into a frenzy
    • Eat townsfolk alive
