    Mineral drakes, ah yes, a subspecies of the common drake mage-bred to hunger for a single mineral. These creatures are a blight upon the land particularly the Calcium drakes. Driven by starvation they almost always find graveyards and dig up the dead. Getting between a Mineral drake and its meal of choice is bad idea. Their jaws and indeed their whole bodies absorb their mineral of choice making its bite particularly deadly. Instinct: To devour a specific mineral

    • Find and Devour specific minerals such as calcium , iron, or gold
    • Dig deep to find its food

    There is always a nearby cave, a hole in the side of hill just in view of town isn't there? Its always got those scaled bastards in it too. Digging. Crafting traps. No matter how many times its cleared more just come in. Well This time we found out why. Those kobold's aren't born their made. The cave makes them. Its time to end this cycle once and for all... Instinct: Lure Adventurers to feed the hungry hordes

    • Close a familiar path
    • Send rumors of great treasure out to the world.

    Special Qualities: Bleeding Cuts, Silent as the grave, Remarkably Unremarkable

    A smartly dressed Gnome in a bowler hat just another face in the crowd. No one remarkable at all. Til he offers to help the down and out or travelers find the best inn in town. In the heart of the city the Sturdy Bed a simple two story inn rustic in the entry way. It isn't until night that the horror begins. Walls move, furniture apears to animate. Invisble blads slash and cut. But it is the silence. The utter silence as G.G. Holmes hunts his prey in this illusion backed murder inn that drives victims to madness. Never knowing when the next slash will come. Is that a gnome walking around the corner, is it finally him? Is it really him or another damned illusion. Why are the exits all bricked over... Instinct: To hunt worthy prey

    Special Qualities: Unrelenting Location Sense, Endless Reassembly

    The Clockwork defender is created with both madness of engineering and genius of magic. It exists only to defend a single item. It survives Epoch to Epoch thanks to its ability to reassemble itself so long as any single gear is left intact. A giant spider made of mix of metals and rare elements its body is covered by hard iron carapace and its legs are sharp as a dragons claw. Its small webs, made of fine wire are not used in combat only to alert it intruders. It will never leave what it was created to guard. And it never stops searching for it if it is stolen. Instinct: Protect what it was created to protect for eternity

    • This clockwork spider is built to defend an item of great power. It is relentless in its duty.

  • Dragon Claw Kobolds Group, Small, Stealthy, Magical, Devious, Organized, Intelligent, Hoarder
    High quality sling (d4 damage) 6 HP 2 armor

    Dragon claw kobolds are a specific clan if kobolds that have perfected the art of traps. Similar in appearance to other kobolds they wear armor carved from dragon bone. These kobolds refuse to serve true dragons and are hunted by all. Once they settle an area it is nearly impossible to root then out. The traps they make drive wizards mad, and drive clerics to abandon their God's. Rogues swap tales of the devious traps and a common saying for anyone killed by a trap is the dragon claw got them. Rumors are swirling around the goblinoid races of a secret that these kobolds stole something from the king of dragons...what ever it was may well be worth all the coin in the dungeon at least to the dragons. Instinct: To snare victims to feed on

    • Unleash another deadly trap.
    • Bypass any trap with ease
    • Spells that turn any object into a trap waiting to be sprung
    • Enrage targets to follow it into a trap filled lair
    • Dragonbone whistle just a puff brings out the horde

    Thought Devils are tiny, hand tall, creatures with red skin, ram horns, and a fire coated pitchfork. They are drawn to those of good and neutral alignments and tempt mortals into ever increasing acts of evil by promising rewards that are always just one more minor evil act away. Unleashed by a good deity to test his faithful thought devils were paired with thought angels. However when their creator fell from divinity the devils slaughtered almost every thought angel. Instinct: To tempt mortals to evil

    • Provide information missing crucial details
    • Tempt mortals with great rewards
    • Teleport onto shoulders of good or neautral beings

    Kaylee is a very young female thief who longs to be a rogue, however she's too young to face the dangers of adventuring and then there is her father the Innkeeper, who won't let her stay out past dusk. She sees no reason why she can't start building up her supplies for when she starts to adventure. Kaylee is a bright eyed little girl with a honey'ed tounge and will likely grow up into a great beauty. Instinct: To gain coin and gear to become a great adventurer

    • Steal Coins and Adventuring Gear from the unwary when in city.
    • Distracts by running into someone and steals from them as they untangle themselves
    • Too Hot to hold onto, Steals the most valuable object on a target.

    • Pluck the eye right out of your skull.
    • Mocking laughter that drives leaders mad.
