The brood are many-legged bug-like creatures preying and roaming in the deep untamed forests, setting paths, tunnels and burrows that they can use to drive the unwary into traps to weaken them with their numerous and poisonous stingers. While their species is in most aspects weak, they still are great in numbers and capable of using sonar communication to warn their kin of intruders or particularly dangerous enemies.
