  • Nachzehrer Group, Intelligent
Bite, claw (d8 damage) 10 HP 0 armor
    Close

A nachzehrer (living off other in the night) is akin to a vampire, in that it drains the blood of the living. However, its vampiric traits are not passed on via disease - nachzehrer are created when someone dies from suicide or even through accidental deaths. Nachzehrer have a want to drain their family of their blood, and even to consume their own flesh, should the need become great enough. Powerful nachzehrer are also known to be able to shapeshift, or even ascend the church belfry to ring the bell, killing all who hear the bell. Nachzehrer are functionally immortal, but can be paralysed by placing a coin in their mouth, and killed through disembowelment. Instinct: To devour family

    • Shapeshift into pig
    • Ring fatal church bells

'Demon Wolf', the locals call him. A wolf, as big as an oxen, that terrorizes the flocks of sheep, leaving only a strong sulfuric smell. The creature's smart, as it has only ever been seen by a few, and only from a distance. He's strong too, snapping the sheep in half.
