    Spear (d6 damage) 3 HP 1 armor
    Close, Reach

Hailing from Jungles across the Oceans, the Lumerian people are at first glance a primitive society wearing loincloth or hides, carrying spears, and relying heavily on their communion with the elemental spirits. They have a hierarchy in which a King rules, and ritual sacrifices are a normal every day part of life. Sacrifices are needed to appease the spirits so that when called, they know who the enemy is. "During my exile, I spent a great deal of time hiding in the fringes of society. One of the locations I stayed at was an oil well next to an archaeological dig, and well, you know me, I couldn't resist attempting to raise the skeletons they would occasionally unearth. I found that due to their extreme age, I needed more advanced necromantic powers, so I accumulated them and trained and honed. When I next returned, thirteen years later, I had become quite the powerful wizard indeed, and found that my skill was far in excess of what these bones required to grant unlife so far out of time. And then I got a strange inkling, and I turned my attention to the oil well. I found that the oil itself was somehow subject to unlife, as the skeletons. I believe that the oil you've been burning in your lamps, and tossing at your foes, is the dead vestige of some ancient and unknowable creature." -Archmage Delvin's Memoir Instinct: to drown
