  • Skyhawk Solitary, Small, Stealthy, Planar
    Talons (d10 damage 1 piercing) 12 HP 0 armor
    Close

"I first took it for an especially large bird of prey, but the bright blue bands upon its wings made me think it was not of this world. As I watched, it seemed to vanish into the sky, nothing more than a faint outline where it was anymore. I have heard of these hawks originating from the elemental plain of Air, where they are kelp as pets by the djinn and used as a noble would use a falcon. Though djinn and their skyhawks have no interest in hunting rabbits; they hunt men who offend them. The skyhawk has an uncanny camouflage ability, making them difficult to spot until they are about to sink their talons into your head. Against the background of the sky, they are all but invisible. " The feathers of a skyhawk are imbued with a fraction of elemental Air power, and their coloring makes them valuable to a fletcher. An arrow or crossbow bolt made with skyhawk arrows is never deflected by high winds. Furthermore, when such an arrow is fired under the open sky and the dice come up doubles, a devastating stroke of lightning strikes whatever the arrow hits. Some say that this is the act of a vengeful djinn getting revenge upon the one who slew his pet. Instinct: To slay on behalf of its djinn masters

    • Swoop and strike the unwary
    • Fly unseen
    • Harry the prey mercilessly

  • The Ravenger Solitary, Large, Organized, Intelligent
Claws and Teeth (b[2d10+4] damage 2 piercing) 20 HP 3 armor
    Forceful

The Ravenger is the dark side of the Huntsman. Pary you are not out when he shifts, pray you have not offended him, and pray that his wolves are not hungry. The only plus side is that he seems vulnerable to magic and can be forced to shift back into the Huntsman...Though that is a small comfort when the wolves keep coming either way. Instinct: To destroy a mark

    • Fearlessly hunt down a mark
    • Call wolf allies

  • The Huntmaster Solitary, Organized, Intelligent
    Axe (d10 damage) 12 HP 1 armor
    Close

The Huntmaster is almost a local hero...Almost. He is known for wandering the wilderness near certain steadings. Wolves flock to his location and obey his command. He never comes into town, and he tends to keep his distance from travelers. Enemies or intruders find themselves up to their ears in wolves and axe marks if they do not proceed with caution. At certain times the Huntmaster cannot be seen at all, but is replaced by the awful howls and fearsome movements of the Ravenger (see Ravenger for more) Instinct: To be left alone and to hunt

    • Transform into The Ravenger
    • Call on wolf allies

  • Olivia Vol Solitary, Magical, Devious, Intelligent
Vampiric gaze (d8 damage 1 piercing) 16 HP 0 armor
    Close, Near, Far
    Special Qualities: Flight

Olivia is an ancient creature who has survived by spreading her influence and using other vampires to fulfill her will. Much like Medusa, Olivia has the ability to affect creatures with her gaze. The only difference is instead of becoming stone you are now a vampire that might be called on to do her bidding at any time...Honestly I'd rather become a statue. Instinct: To spread her influence

    • Infect others with vampirism
    • Control another vampire
    • Gaze deep into their eyes.

  • Snagtusk Group
Tearing Tusks (b[2d8+2] damage 1 piercing) 6 HP 1 armor
    Close
Special Qualities: Always have a pup behind you.

The Snagtusk is welcomed by most farming steadings due to its compulsion to dig up the soil with its tusks. If domesticated they make excellent labor and guard animals. Once taught their territory they will defend it to the death. Very seldom is a Snagtusk alone. More often than not, a "pup" follows not far behind it. Instinct: Aggressively defend its territory

    • Plow the earth with it's tusks

  • Scavanger Ooze Group, Small, Amorphous
Oozy Maw (d8 damage) 13 HP 2 armor
    Close, Ignores Armor
Special Qualities: Gain strength and size while eating

These terrible blights eventually creep into cemeteries and when they get there they will fight to the death to keep their new feeding ground. If left alone to feed their size is unlimited. People might be more inclined to invite these creatures into their burial ground in order to elimininate waste if they didn't sometimes snatch up a child of domestic animal...and if people were okay with their deceased being systematically disolved into an ooze. Instinct: To protect their feeding ground

    • Feed off the dead

  • Atlantean Solitary, Stealthy, Organized, Intelligent, Hoarder, Planar, Amorphous
    Pseudopod (d12 damage) 15 HP 1 armor
    Close, Near
    Special Qualities: Amphibious, Polymorph

The mythical creators of the dopplegängers, the Atlanteans, used to rule many worlds. Now they are but a handful, ancient, mad and hungry. When the hunger becomes too unbearable, they leave their palaces at the bottom of the sea to feed on magic. If they can't find a treasure trove, they will assume the form of a powerful individual and use their resources to gather magic items, artifacts or even relics. The older the yummier. Instinct: To take power

    • Consume magic
    • Steal somebody's face and manners
    • Summon minions and allies
    • Use an artifact to call upon forgotten powers
